Applicable to 1, 6 and 12-month subscription plans booked through www.rentacardoha.com.
These terms apply to every vehicle rented under an Al Muftah Rent A Car ("AMRAC", "we", "us") Subscription plan. They apply together with our General Booking Terms and the Rental Agreement you sign at handover; if there is any conflict, the Rental Agreement prevails. By confirming a subscription booking you agree to these terms.
Subscriptions are available for terms of 1, 6 or 12 months at the rates displayed on the Subscriptions page at the time of booking. The term starts on the date the vehicle is delivered or collected and ends on the end date shown in your confirmation.
The subscriber and every additional driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a driving licence valid for driving in Qatar. Original ID and licence must be presented at handover; copies and digital versions are not accepted. Additional drivers are free of charge but must be registered on the Rental Agreement before driving. Only registered drivers are insured.
The subscription rate is fixed for the term and is payable in advance according to the payment schedule shown at booking. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, bank transfer, payment link and Fawran. The rate includes comprehensive insurance, unlimited mileage within Qatar, registration, routine servicing, 24-hour roadside assistance, a replacement vehicle during servicing or repair, and free delivery and collection within Qatar. It excludes fuel, traffic fines, Collision Damage Waiver, child seats, the deposit-free surcharge and any charges arising from misuse or damage.
A deposit is required unless you select the deposit-free option. The amount is shown against the vehicle at booking and may be provided by (a) credit-card pre-authorisation, released after the subscription closes and reflecting in your account within 30–45 days depending on your bank; (b) debit-card deposit of QAR 3,050, of which QAR 3,000 is refunded 30 days after return and QAR 50 is retained as a processing fee; or (c) the deposit-free option, subject to the daily surcharge shown at booking. Outstanding fines, damage and other charges may be deducted from the deposit.
You will receive a vehicle of the category booked; a specific model is subject to availability and we may substitute a vehicle of equivalent or higher category at any time during the term. The vehicle remains the property of AMRAC and may not be sold, sub-let, pledged or used as security.
Routine servicing is included and carried out at AMRAC's own garage. You must monitor the service-due sticker and odometer and contact us when a service is due; we will schedule the service and provide a replacement vehicle while yours is with us. Damage arising from failure to present the vehicle for a due service, from ignoring warning lights, or from incorrect fuel is charged to you.
The vehicle is comprehensively insured. You are liable for the excess shown against the vehicle for each incident unless you have purchased Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which reduces the excess to zero. A police report is mandatory for every accident and every damage — including own damage and tyre, windscreen, glass and undercarriage damage — with or without CDW; without a police report no claim can be accepted and you are liable for the full cost of repair. Interior damage is never covered. Cover is void if the vehicle is driven by an unregistered driver, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off-road, outside Qatar or for a prohibited purpose.
The vehicle is for private, on-road use within the State of Qatar only. It may not be taken outside Qatar, used off-road, on beaches or for racing, used for commercial purposes, deliveries, ride-hailing or driving instruction, used to tow, to carry dangerous goods or more passengers than seats, or used in breach of Qatar traffic law. Smoking and pets are not permitted in the vehicle.
All fines and violations incurred during the term are your responsibility. You may settle them directly with the Traffic Department at no additional cost. Where AMRAC settles on your behalf, an administration fee of up to QAR 100 per fine applies and the total may be deducted from your deposit or charged to your card.
Fuel is not included. The vehicle is supplied with a recorded fuel level and must be returned at the same level; missing fuel is charged to you. Excess fuel is not refunded.
You may return the vehicle before the end of the term. The total charge is then recalculated at the rate applicable to the period actually used — For example a 6-month subscription returned early is re-rated at the monthly rate; a 12-month subscription returned after 6 months or more is re-rated at the 6-month rate.
To continue beyond the end date, request an extension or a new subscription before the term ends. New terms are charged at the rates prevailing at that time.
A subscription may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time. Cancellations within 24 hours, or failure to collect the vehicle, are charged one day's rental at the daily rate for the vehicle.
Return the vehicle at the agreed time and place in a clean, reasonable condition with all keys, documents and accessories. Our team inspects the vehicle against the check-out record; new damage or missing items are documented with you and charged in accordance with the Rental Agreement. Excessive dirt, sand, stains or smoke odour are charged according to vehicle size. Lost keys, and any recovery costs, are charged to you. The vehicle remains your responsibility until inspected by our team.
For breakdowns call our 24-hour roadside assistance on +974 4481 0400 or +974 6651 5980. In an accident, ensure everyone is safe, call 999, obtain a police report and contact us immediately. Do not arrange repairs without our authorisation.
We may terminate the subscription and recover the vehicle immediately if payment is overdue, if the vehicle is used in breach of these terms, or if any information provided at booking is found to be false. Charges accrued to the date of recovery remain payable.
